Honolulu, Hawaiʻi – The House Select Committee on COVID-19 Economic and Financial Preparedness Sept. 14 briefing will focus on reports from the following subcommittees:
Hawaiʻi’s Economy, Carl Bonham
Communications and Economic Recovery Subcommittee, Ray Vara
CARES Funds Subcommittee, Lauren Nahme, Jill Tokuda
Housing and Homelessness Subcommittee, James Koshiba Carl Bonham, Executive Director of the University of Hawaiʻi Economic Research Organization (UHERO) James Koshiba, co-founder of Hui Aloha Lauren Nahme, President of Strategy and Transformation at Kamehameha Schools Jill Tokuda, former State Senator and Chair of the Senate Ways and Means Committee Ray Vara, President and Chief Executive Officer of Hawai‘i Pacific Health
To comply with restrictions to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the briefing will be held remotely via public television and streaming online. No public testimony will be accepted.
The briefing will be televised live on ‘Olelo channel 49 and will be sent out live for pick up by neighbor island public access channels. The briefing can also be watched live online at https://olelo.org/ or on the House webcast page http://olelo.granicus.com/ViewPublisher.php?view_id=31.
